Although August is traditionally a quieter month at nursery with families taking holidays and term-time only children not with us, we still enjoyed all sorts of fun activities. Here are some of our highlights from the month!
Children at both of our nurseries enjoyed trips to various local places including the wonderful Beckonscot Model Village, the park and Beaconsfield library.
At Brindley House Nursery the children were very excited to play with the ‘Soup Kitchen’ we created for them. They loved pouring, stirring, examining vegetables and pretending to make soup.
And the cooking theme continued at Northgate House Nursery with the children in Rocket Space making cheese straws. The kneading of the dough was hard work (although very good for little fingers!) but everyone agreed the delicious end result was worth it!
We hope everyone enjoyed August as much as we did!
