We’d like to thank all our staff and families for another fantastic year at Beaconsfield Childcare. It was a huge achievement to get Brindley House fully reopened after the fire in 2016, and the opening of Curl Around Childcare at St Mary’s and All Saints Primary School in Beaconsfield was also a milestone for us.
With lots more fun to come in 2018, let’s remember some of 2017’s highlights.

Our Charity Fun Day at Brindley House in July in aid of the Grenfell Tower Appeal was a huge success, despite the terrible weather! It was wonderful that so many families came along to join in the fun and shows what a special community we have. We raised over £1,000 for the appeal, which couldn’t have been done without your generosity.

We welcomed Nadine back to Northgate House after her maternity leave. It was great to have her back and to help settle her daughter, Ava, into nursery. “Being welcomed back by staff and parents was a 2017 highlight for me – one parent commented that it was fantastic to have me back as they’d missed me! Our summer leavers’ party also went really well and we’re all proud of raising so much money for Children in Need with our Bounceathon!” remembers Nadine.

The arrival of the eggs and equipment from Incredible Eggs, which allowed us to hatch our own chicks brought a huge amount of joy and excitement to Northgate House. Children were really excited to come to nursery every morning and it was wonderful to share their wonder.

Sarah, Beaconsfield Childcare’s owner and managing director, had one important highlight, “At Brindley House we re-opened fully in March 2017, following the horrific fire in the summer of 2016. This was a massive milestone following 7 months of hard work.”

She also explains how other goals were achieved, “One of our top priorities of 2017 was technology. We are proud to have seen a marked improvement in technology within our settings through online observations, and children’s experiences in this area have been enhanced through the new resources and opportunities.”

We’d like to wish all our families and staff a Happy New Year and look forward to creating lots more memories with you in 2018.
