For the children at Brindley House Nursery, Monday 8th January was a very special day – the nursery celebrated its 10th birthday with yummy cake and a birthday party.

We’re very proud of the community we have at our nursery – the Charity Fun Day we held last July in aid of the Grenfell Tower Appeal was testament this and throughout the year we support many charity events, both locally and nationally.

Since opening our doors in 2007 over 2,000 local children have been a part of our nursery. Owner and director Sarah says, “We’re delighted to be celebrating our 10th anniversary. It is so rewarding to be a key part of such a caring community and we are all passionate about providing the best possible environment for our children to thrive. It is also wonderful to be able to help develop our staffs’ careers.”

Many of you will know our longest running staff member, Wallis, who started working in the cafe at Brindley back in 2007 and has gained professional childcare qualifications with the support of Beaconsfield Childcare. After lots of study and training she has worked her way up to become Assistant Manager of the nursery.

We have plenty of ideas to make the next 10 years just as much fun!
